So I thought it would be fun to get 1-3 babies instead of just one.

1 would be common, 2 uncommon and 3 would be rare but possible x3

So the male's owner could say in his male's rules "If your female gets more than 1 baby, I want at least one".

No support, for one simple reason:

As the system currently stands, having a pregnant pet takes away an extra pet slot, so that there is room for the baby.

How many pet slots would be reserved under this system?

One, and risk losing out on babies due to lack of pet slots?

Three, and risk losing out on other pets due to slots taken up that might not need to be?

Or the number of babies rolled for each pregnancy, which would mean that number would be known in advance?

Admittedly the latter is the best option, but all of these options are problematic in one way or another.

Thus, no support.

No support for general use. 

If you want this, I'd suggest it as a one use gold coin item. 

The reason being - animals don't die. 

Sure there's a "shortage" now, but what about months down the line? 

Unless I've missed something, once your animals are all "bred out", they'll just sit in your account (exploring or whatever, yah) taking up stable space unless you sell or send them to the pound. Until there is a "retire" option, I think the 15+ that every girl can have is enough. 

If the male owner wants a baby, wait a day and rebreed. Easy peasy and as 'enforceable' as a "multi-babies rule" on a male. 

I support this... but I wonder how that will work out with the pet slot thing.... o.0

Perhaps it should depend on an item or a certain stat.... or breeding during a certain season.. like maybe a mating season... "It's mating season for the Dragon, you now have a 25% chance of twins during this week"
