I've been looking for a way to burn time and somehow made my way onto this site. I've been on and off many other virtual pet sites, but it's always the ones that play with a bit of genetics and breeding that hold my interest. I must say, I have had a lengthy look around and am really enjoying the place. A little annoyed that there isn't much action for a new player after the tutorial. I just want to dive in and do as much as I can because it's still so new and exciting. But I suppose I can be patient. ;D

Real life hobbies include art, and um.. cleaning the house... my pets. *cough*
I have a German Shepherd, Afghan Hound, two matching black & white cats, tropical fish, Green-Cheeked Conure, and a daughter. Yeah, I group her with the pets. She makes just as much mess and noise (if not more). I used to have horses a few years ago, but sadly with the tight chokehold of finances and being pregnant at the time, it's a thing of the past... *sniffle*

Anyway! I've decided to live my lifelong (as of a couple hours ago) dream of breeding Unicorns! If you know of anyone with great stock, or are feeling rather generous (*wink*) please let me know! I'd love to get to know anyone further. Seems like an awesome community here~

I'm trying to breed some specific abilities into my beasts; however, I haven't had much luck with cockatrice breeding because I keep getting recessive genes that I want to be dominant.

I can imagine that must be very frustrating. I've managed to avoid that problem by not breeding, however, I've been collecting animals I think would be good for breeding. I read somewhere that the offspring get a bonus on their stat lineup when they are born if the parents are level 50? Or something similar to that.
