Hello. I have a pet with Genealogist and it says that it reveals a newborns traits... She just gave birth to a baby but none of its traits were revealed, which makes me wonder, how does this trait work then?

Your pet sees which of its traits a newborn has inherited. The pet reveals 1-4 of its baby's genes depending on its Intuition:

• Basic - 1 gene
• 50 Intuition - 2 genes
• 75 Intuition - 3 genes
• 100 Intuition - 4 genes

I looked in your stable and saw that you only had one baby, this Lykos pup, whose mother is this Lykos. As she has Genealogist as her dominant brain gene I take it that she is the mother in question here. Her Intuition is at 44 which means only one of the baby's genes would have been revealed. You've already started researching the baby's other genes so I can't verify that the baby was born with no revealed genes.

That would be the mom and pup in question. And yes, I did already start testing. I had 12 Vermillion when I did so (two found from adventuring and 10 from the Europa program that produced the pup in question), and now the pup has 12 slots revealed. I was really confused when I saw that, as I though that the mother should have had revealed one trait.

(Ah, I used a bunch more Vermillion today, so the pup now has 19 researched slots.)
