Greetings there fellow Beastlords!

Ricochet (or Rico) here, a brand-new newbie, ready to dive headfirst into what I am guessing is going to be a new favorite sim/adoptable site for me. :)

A little bit about myself: I am a female in my twenties who has a Bachelor’s Degree, a boyfriend and two fluffy furbabies named Mona (Lisa) and (Da) Vinci. Also, I live in the states, hence the title that BK lives in the future; the site is approximately seven hours ahead of my time.

I love to write and role-play and although I’m interested in many varieties of RP themes, I prefer the fantasy animal (wolf, horse, big cat, etc) genre the best (it is what I write most often). <I>BTW ~ If you are reading this and happen to be looking for a RP partner or just to RP in general, message me! I’m sure that I would be interested :)</I>

This place looks amazing, but if I’m being honest, it also seems a little overwhelming. There is so much to do and remember (the genetics for one) and I am not entirely sure where to start. I suppose the FAQ and player guides might be a good place xD

If anybody has any tips or advice to offer a newb, that’d be much appreciated. In the meantime, I am looking forward to getting to know the community. <3 :D

Welcome to beast keeper! You're right, you should trace the player guides first. There are a lot of things you need to know.

I took a look over a variety of the guides that are listed, and so far they've been quite helpful.

As for my favorite beast, I think I'm torn between the Unicorn and the Gryphon (but I also really like the Pumas o.o) . What is your favorite beast?

It's a tie between a unicorn or symurgh.
