How do I delete a post after posting it?

Maybe change the title to PLEASE DELETE so a moderator can remove it?

Right underneath the menu tabs at the top of the page, you'll see:
Boards < General < Help < How do I upgrade my buildings? (Change Topic)

You can also private message a moderator, there are a few, and they should have an indication that they are one.

Hello!
There are several ways to delete a post.
1) You can PM me with the link. I'm currently the only active Mod and Angel is busy with all sorts of things!
2) Change the title of the thread
3) Report your own thread to have it deleted (you will not get a warning, don't worry!)
4) You may also post in any of the !One active thread per user! posts on the sales boards (ie this one: http://beastkeeper.com/thread/7046)
