This has been a long time in the making simply because I haven't buckled down to put the time and thought required to put forth a well-constructed suggestion for these mighty beasts. It's about time I got something that I started done though, so here it is!
King of the Jungle
A fire sparked by a storm a week ago has yet to die down as it was predicted to do and, as a result, preventative measures to control and contain the fire were not put into motion in time to save this particular jungle environment. The Conclave of Warlocks is intervening at this point not to stop the fire, as it is too late for that, but instead to help soften the blow of this natural disaster.
This ecosystem held the right conditions required for the elusive Girallon to thrive in but the fire is quickly destroying it all. As extremely territorial beings they can not be removed from their home and will be hostile towards anyone trying to relocate them. Many of the grown Girallon have already lost their lives due to this stubborn nature that kept them from abandoning their homes, leaving the young orphaned and alone to flee from the fiery blaze around them. Alas, the adults can not be saved, but there is hope that the younglings will be able to adjust in a new environment under the care of a Beastlord.
The Conclave of Warlocks has had all Jungle portals reassigned to send Beastlords into this jungle in hopes that they can save what few they can before the fire claims them all. Beastlords will have to utilize a series of portals set up in haste by the Warlocks to travel into the depths of the jungle for a better chance of finding a young Girallon. Unfortunately time is limited but the Warlocks will do what they can to slow the fire and buy the Beastlords as much time as they are able.

Of course the introductoray story I provided can be changed however the staff sees fit to change it but this is I how envision the Girallon being introduced into the game. The story was also written after 2 AM so if there are any obvious errors in it, well, sorry!
The method is similar to that of the Lykos except a new Biotype will not be introduced for it. And, in collecting the young Girallon instead of eggs, how many you can get is limited to the stable space you have available. Instead of Ancient Portals (or whatever their name was) there would be Temporary Portals to take users deeper into the jungle.
Girallon found in the Jungle will have to wait 3 days to grow into adulthood, and then spend 3 days being tamed, before being able to be used for breeding, exploring, etc.

Color + Pattern Variations
As a gorilla-like creature the Girallon's various skin colorations can be based on various primates around the world. If any BK artists want to try their hand at coloring the above Girallon image provided by Asthora, or even make their own base of the creature to use, I'd be happy to feature it here in this thread! PM me if you're able to but would like some sort of payment to do so and we can work out a deal.
Feel free to post comments and suggestions below! Try and keep all criticism constructive so that it helps to build the concept up, not tear it down with baseless comments such as "i hate it it's so stupid like omg it's hideous just no way." If you don't like anything state why in a polite and articulate manner and perhaps offer a suggestion as to how this can be remedied- please and thank you!
