This has kind of bothered me for a while. I've seen tons of pets where the breeder was listed as "Unknown," and what I would like to know is why the breeder should be unknown. I have pets from the pound, pets created through the fertility shrine, and pets from stud males on the breeding offers. All of them have a breeder listed. But I'll be browsing through another user's pets, and dozens of them have unknown breeders. I'm curious as to why this is.

While I have been wondering about the same thing myself, it seems to happen to wild pets that change owners?
I have wild pets I caught that list me as breeder, but I have seen wilds I caught list Unknown for their breeder - incidentally, those pets I sold.
The wild pets at the auction also seem to follow this pattern, at first glance.

My guess would be a little quirk in the coding, and with how it handles wild pet ownership.

I have seen wild pets listed with unknown breeders, and I feel like that can make sense, but I've also seen bred pets with unknow breeders as well. I can think of no reason why this would be.
