Hello! As you may have read from the question above; I was wondering how long it normally takes to get a pet to Level 50. 

You see, I've gotten my first Lykos; Snowfang. (He is also a pound pet. I love him very much, and even added a custom skin to him!) I'd love to use him for my breedings. However, I'd like his puppies to have Green stars, and I'd like for his final pup to have three green stars.

By my understandings, I'm pretty sure you must level a pet to level 50 before he/she breeds, and a green generation star is passed down. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) 

And, like said, I'd like my Snowfang to have his pups to have heritage. 

And, a few other questions...

1. Do both parents need to be level 50 to have a baby with green stars?

2. If the parents have offspring, and generates a green star with the child, Does that child need to be LV. 50 to generate 2 green stars? (Or if he has another child, does that one green star pass on to the offspring?) 

3.  If I have one pet with two stars, and I breed him/her with one pet that has one star, what will happen? 

Sorry for my noobiness, I'd just never really thought of how to get a pet with green stars up until this point. I appreciate anyone who can help answer my questions! c:

From what I can tell, for me, it usually takes around 2-4 weeks to level my pets to 50. This is without the exp boost scrolls and battling only though, so it may take more or less, depending on how active you are, what you're doing to get exp, etc. (You gain about 1 level every X# of wins, depend on level you're fighting & level you are (caps at 12, I think), then add Riding Hall's +1 level every 4~ hours, can gain upwards to 2~6 levels each day.)

Anyways, most of your questions are already answered, elsewhere. You only have to go the Help -> FAQ -> Genetics and Breeding questions -> 3. What is Genetic power?

There are also some player guides, if you're still confused. (Which is in Community -> Forums -> Player Guides (It's under general)

Though to answer your question, vaguely, it depends, but you usually need at least one at level 50.
