So, say I want to breed a peid black puma double deviant (A2 B5). I have bred the pattern deviant, however does the color deviant I need have to be pied black color deviant? Could it just be black deviant color? For example: Pied black pattern deviant+ Black panther color deviant.
(I read over this and it sounds a bit confusing but I couldn't really find a better way to word it)

Yes it can. As long as both parent are deviants, one of color and one of pattern, producing a double deviant baby is possible... And it won't even necessarily end up homozygous for color and pattern either.
