I haven't watched all the episodes to be called a Supernatural fan, but my twin has and is a major fan.
So I enjoy and can mostly follow the fan stuff - it's fun (when it's not heartbreaking or the fans make me headdesk haha).

I'm a little burnt out on the series (just a little), but I do still enjoy it. My favorite episode is "The French Mistake". Similarly, I get a laugh out of all the episodes where they address the in-continuity series of books that were written about them (My best friend and I randomly use the quote "Whats a slash fan?").
My favorite character was always Bobby, but Cass is a very close second.

@AliSha: Spoilers! I'm only at 5th season x) but I liked the one where they saw that a man wrote their life in a book so I guess the french mistake will be epic too.

But if you liked that episode, you will probably get a big laugh out of "The French Mistake". It is such a ridiculous story, but it is funny and it works for the show.

Season 6, episode 15. I had to go look it up because I keep forgetting which episodes correspond to which season since I tend to watch both the morning episodes on TNT (and the occasional all-day marathons that air fan favorites out of order) and then watch random episodes available On Demand.

I dunno if I'm happy about another season. I kinda liked season 5's conclusion when it was going to be the series finale, and I thought the current storyline this season would be a great final season story as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing for the series to be cancelled or anything, I just would rather it reach an acceptable conclusion rather than overstaying it's welcome and getting canned mid-season. Or worse, having a lackluster series finale.
But since we are getting another season, I'm glad Cass will be there in a greater capacity. I'm curious if he'll be similar to the Cass of the alternate 2014 Dean saw once.

Lawl. Actually, I liked both castiel (future and past Castiel) but they're so different! I'm not sure if I want Castiel to change.

It just makes me curious since season 9 would essentially be around the same time as that episode, and just because the events that caused that alternate future were averted doesn't mean that a few events couldn't come to pass in some other way. I can already see two things that were true in that future that have come to pass by other means (but I won't be specific since you're not quite that far).
