Not sure why but as soon as I enter an explore map (Jungle) with a pet for the first time, the whole map is visable including the water outskirts that are usually blacked out since the pet can't see past one or two squares ahead of it. I have tried this with three different pets and all show the complete map to me. While it is nice to see everything on the map, I know the normal game play is not supposed to show me every thing. Wondering if this is a bug since I did not encounter this when I was last online 9 hours ago.

Check your Inn; Travelling Magicians clear the Fog of War and allow you to see the whole island.

9 hours ago would have been a different in-game day (you can see the Game time right under the exhibition). When the day changed the Travelling Magician likely came to your Inn.
