So Ive been annoyed about having hard time tracking pets I traded away (granted there is only very few that I traded but thats cuz I cant track em back...) I know we have the titles but those are useless for tracking since they can be changed by the new owner...the Affix would be fixed to the pet and could be only changed by the breeder of the pet...the fact that the title can be changed by anybody totaly put me off trading my pets as it dissables me to keep track which I originaly thought the title is for..

Hey guys! So I decided to use the signature to help me complete my deviant collection!!!

So these are the deviants Im missing and looking for:

I think it would be easier if we could just see an owner history as a tab on the pet's page. That would be nice and less invasive for the new owner.

But a breeder code wold be kinda neat. Sort of like a kennel code for AKC registration. Maybe it could be gotten by a special item (like title scrolls)

well the owner history wont enable you to find a lost pet thats been sold like 5x....the affix would enable you just like the title to see all the pets that have it yet it wouldnt be changable by anyone but the original breeder of the pet...

yea like a kennel code :) I always loved our kennel codes for dogs, cats and gerbills..its the pride of the breeder and the kennel code already can tell you a lot about the pet :)

yea Id say everyone would have to sign up their kennel code and get it accepted just like in real life..with a small fee even maybe...and no 2 would be ever able to be alike

We can add "breeder" field to the pet profile. This way the pet doesn't receive any unremoveable marks and the breeders will get a possibility to track their pets. Although there's one tech issue with this. Since we weren't tracking pet breeders earlier, all existing pets won't be included and will be marked as "Breeder unknown". Only future generations may be tracked.

Titles have a different purpose. It's not a breeder's mark but a way to organize and track your breeding groups in your own stable without having to rename pets or add notes to their profiles. Other players may want to add a purchased pet to their own breeding group, so it's removeable.

That would be nice! Haha, well maybe those pets will have some added value being so weird and all.
