Hello everyone,  I'm obviously new here. I'm not unaware of these sites, I've been on pf as well as small pets. And I'm curious to how I get more vermillion,  as well as silver and I'm ultimately curious on how you get a deviant colorant. I would like to succeed here so anything will help! Pointers and tips welcome!

To get to your questions.  Vermillion you can get exploring or sometimes bid or trade on it in the trading tab ( 'item trades' ).  Silver, the easiest way to earn it is sending your pets on quests other way sell stuff or of course there is always the option of exploring (you can get pretty much anything exploring, except pets and rarer items). 

Deviants, are complicated to explain.  Deviants are unusual colorations of 3 pets on, unicorn, dragon, and roc.  The concept,  basically you breed to animals together that have same pattern or same color  (pattern and color is a lot cooler).  Then you have a 10% chance of getting a deviant. If I am correct if you have color and pattern you have a 25% chance to get a deviant color or pattern, and a 10% chance to get both.  Here is a list of skins that might make visuals a little bit easier.  List of Skins.

Deviant Pattern:

Mother has stripe

                              Baby 10% chance deviantion of stripe

Father has stripe

 Deviant Color:

Mother has Buckskin

                               Baby has 10% chance deviation of buckskin

Father has Buckskin

Double Deviant:

Mother has stripe & buckskin

                               Baby has 25% chance deviation buckskin or stripe, 10% chance both

Father has stripe & buckskin

Thanks for all of that information!  Another question, when I bid on something and theres still time left, why does it take my money now? And I believe I read somewhere that someone was having that issue, they lost the bid, and the money too... that's not about to happen to me? Is it?

When you bid on an auction, they take your money then. It is to insure you haven't spent your money later and then cannot afford the item. The money is returned to you after the auction ends if you have lost. As long as the auction is still ongoing, even if someone has outbid you, the auction still holds onto your money
