how many days are pets pregnant for?
Can you rename adopted pets? Or other pets?

They are pregnant for 24hrs. :)
You can only rename pets with an amnesia potion. The idea behind that is because when you adopt, or have, a pet in real life you can't change the name all willy nilly and at random. You can find these potions exploring, from users, or the shop (which is expensive).
