I have tried several times to get a screen shot to illustrate my point, but I'm going to need some help figuring out how to attach it.

My question though is why do some opponent attacks not get me a point when I roll a defensive manuver? I thought any attack would work, but I am finding that not so. In fact, when an opponent rolled the exact same manuvers twice, the first one I got a defensive point the second time I didn't! I wish I had an image of that one.

Is there some ability or other stipulation why I wouldn't be getting a point?

As for the screenshot. If you are on windows you can search for an application called "snipping tool" is useful, or press ALT + PrtSc at the same time, and then paste into a blank MS Paint or other art program. A move like counterstrike that is an attack and defense.  I've also seen it happen with the fire attack.

Here is an example it's on the first line, or last depending on how you want to read it.

The first round has Unbridled attack that discards your defensive maneuvers.
