It's stand alone software. I can't figure out CS6 to save my life. It's completely different interface. It's actually pretty close to the old photoshop but minus the photo editing portion, It is truly geared for more artistic than photographic means.

That looks amazing! I think I'll have to do a trial version some time! (when I know I will have lots of time for art!)
CS2 is nice, simple and easy- yet it is powerful and has what I need. :)
