Hey so I was under the impression that to get a doubledeviant both parents have to be a deviant (one in color the other in patern) whilst having the other color genes compatible...eg a unicorn that is deviant in chestnut color and has a piebald gene with a piebald deviant that has a chestnut gene... but I just found a Roc whos parents are both deviants (father in patern and mother in color) but their other color genes are not compatible...the father is deviant in diluted patern with yellow/red and green/blue genes and the mother is deviant in brown color and has owl and normal genes and the baby is chestnut owl doubledeviant...so can the parents be any deviant color with any deviant patern or do they have to be compatible in the other genes? because doubledeviant do have double homozygous color genes which shouldnt be technicaly possible if the parents do not have compatible other color genes..
