There is a browser based video game called Evocality being funded through Kickstarter that I would love to see exceed its goal. Help our game go viral and make Evocality a reality! Our project has a lot to offer players in terms of entertainment and evoking thought. Evocality is a science fiction breeding simulation and roleplay adventure game set in a turbulent dystopia. Humans are struggling to survive in this radioactive, plague and blight ridden, highly dangerous environment, and scientists are now seeking ways to force humanity to adapt and thus save the human race from extinction. The player is an intern at a government laboratory working to unlock the secrets to manipulating DNA by studying the easily altered canine genome. The work may involve some on-site education in biology and chemistry, but players will get to enjoy the process of breeding the amazingly strange colors and patterns of manipulated wolves, dire wolves, dogs, wild dogs, foxes, fennec foxes, jackals, coyotes, dingos, dholes, mutants, and more! Players will be able to explore the landscape in an adventure mode to unlock events, quests, and minigames! In the future, there will even be a comic (about this world's past and the game's official characters) to look forward to reading, and there are user written short story books (set within this world, or written about various real world scientific theories and data) to download while waiting for each comic update. The Readable Book and University systems in the game are features we hope will allow high school and college students to exchange information, self educate, and teach other players about real world majors and fields of study (though we of course welcome any graduates and professors who want to share knowledge). The site's official forums are intended to function as a thriving hub of both unofficial and official event roleplay. Participation in character creation (of both human and canine characters) and roleplay activities will reap helpful game rewards.
