hello everyone, im aaron. as you can probably tell, i have had an account on this site for a while. this account was actually created in febuary of 2013. i, of course, havent been actively on the site for that duration. after hearing the site mentioned i remembered that i have an account here, and here i am!

as for things about myself: i am 17. i play a lot of pet sites and games and that kind of thing. i am an artist. i like rping and making characters, although ive not done the former in quite some time. i also use tumblr a lot

sooo while i did play for a time, you can probably tell by my pets and manor that i didnt really get that far. i didn't tap into all the site's mechanics and i never got 'wealthy' or anything. there's still some things i'm curious about, mostly about site economic climate. soooo:

- what's considered a lot of money?

- what determines whether a pet's stats are good or bad?

- what makes a creature valuable excluding high stats? (color, etc)

Hello Aaron, welcome back.

I think I remember that avatar? Have you always had that?

Hrm... I'm not sure what 'a lot' would be considered. This is an old thread, but may give you a better idea on what people have. Currently I have about a mill- but I haven't spent in AGES. http://beastkeeper.com/thread/3897

This guide by Timain is super useful: http://beastkeeper.com/thread/5218

This is also a good guide to genes: http://beastkeeper.com/thread/3382

Basically "green" stats are modified by dominant genes that give benefits. "Red" stats are ones that are modified by bad genes. Genes

None of these are really going to help you with value of pets... People have all sorts of systems.

Some people have a base price for a pet 500-1000s. Then either add or detract based on the genes that the pets have (greater for rarer, positive genes, and less for negative genes). Things like GP, Degen, skin color (deviant, custom, or rare), and lineage can all alter that of course! Different things are valuable to different people. There is plenty on Beastkeeper to people occupied for different reasons.

I hope that was able to help a little bit. :)

Let me know if you have any more questions!!
