In some of the exhibitions "clan bonuses" are listed. What is this?
For example: my Gryphons have a clan bonus of 2...?

Check the link "How are points and positions calculated" underneath your score. As for Clan Bonus it says:
You can get a Clan bonus for applying several related pets (calculated in the same way as Degeneration):
- +25% points for 2 pets
- +50% points for 3 pets
- +75% points for 4 pets
- +100% points for 5 pets
So if your pets are related somewhere within 3 generations, they get clan bonus.
