It would be really great if we could get an alert of some sort before the person in our inn leaves. I am constantly forgetting what day it is because of the huge time difference between where I live and BK and half the time don't remember to use a new invite before another person comes in and takes the spot. This is quite frustrating when i'm breeding 100 pets and really need a geneticist. xD

I also thought perhaps being able to upgrade your Inn - through battlefield stuff maybe? - and have two people stay at once might be useful, though I realise you probably don't want people being able to get double bonuses. Perhaps if only one bonus-giving person was able to stay at one time? Alternatively it would be nice if we could kick someone out.. *coughs* though that ruins the randomness of it somewhat.

I really like this idea. Since BK is a couple of hours behind our time zone and I have a tendency to leave my account logged in, I also forget about things like inn guests and golems.

 

I'm more for supporting the latter suggestion though since I seem to be collecting quite a collection of invites now but don't have the space for the results of their benefits.

 

It would really be helpful to have a collaboration between some guests such as the druids/dryads/magicians and the captain of rangers. Or maybe the financier and conquistador.

 

There'd definitely be cases where people would invite two of each class though, especially the trainers, tacticians, conquistadors, financiers, and captain of rangers so maybe the limit to one of each guest per inn would fix that.

I agree that the inn should have a higher guest capacity because right now it's more like having a friend over or a bed and breakfast, 5 or 6 is a good maximum I think. Up to 2 of those spots would be available for guests with abilities with the rest filled by silver only guests.

Perhaps an upgrade to the inn would also allow for higher paying guests because 50 silver from the guests without abilities isn't very much.

Getting different bonuses from various combinations of guests would be nice. A good combination could be a geneticist and a dryad/magician for better genetics in wild caught pets.

I really really like the idea of having more than 1 visitor. All that construction just to recieve 50 a day. We could level it up more than once to get 4 or 6 visitor. It makes sense to have only 2 that gives bonuses. All the rest can visit our exhibits XD.

I would like to add the ability to put more than 1 invite in waiting for the next visitor.

I definitely like the idea of upgrading to four available spots! Maybe you couldn't get a second bonus-giving person until lv3 or something (when there are 3 spots available). A higher payout would also be very nice (lets face it, 50 silver is nothing).

It does also make sense to be able to use multiple invites if we have multiple spaces available for these people - having the ability to check who we've sent an invite to would also be good in this case. xD

Instead of having 100% benefits from one guest, you will get 50% from each of the two guests, 33% from each of the three and 25% from each of the four guests.

For example having both financier and conquistador occupying your inn at the same time would result in 50% higher income from town hall as well as 25% increase in silver and vermillion you get from occupied battlefield zones, instead of 100% more from town hall with financier alone or 50% more silver and vermillion with conquistador alone.

This way it looks like a reasonable improvement over the current inn and the way it works.

I like this suggestion, Poe.

However, what would you do with guests like the Dryad, who inhabits free Dens at the next cycle instead of the regular time? Wait 2 cycles? And what about the Geneticist (wasn't it clear that I would bring him up? ;D)? His only advantage right now is that you can select which gene to research. How would you "halve" this?

There might be guests, for which this division may not always work.

Another idea then, would be to divide the time of their stay at one's inn.

For example one guest would stay for 96 hours, two guests would stay for 72 hours, three guests would stay for 48 hours, four guests would stay for 24 hours.

Hm this may be a workable way, yes. Would be interesting to hear what others think of this, but I believe this may be a good solution that would make it more interesting to use some of those less sought-after invites.

Decreasing the benefits given or time a guest stays at the inn would make me not want to bother with having more than one guest at a time.

For that matter, just think how frustating it would be if you had a guest or guest combo you were happy with only to have a random guest or two show up that you're not interested in.

How about adding more slots for the inn, but only allowing one active invitation at the time? The rest of the visitors would be random, and usually just regular travellers and such who only bring in a bit of coin..  But with some luck, you might get some good combos.

I like that, although as I said earlier the untalented guests should really give more silver, otherwise it's not really worth it to change things.

I agree in principle that changes should be made to the Inn... but keep it simple... I feel that the more complicated  the suggestions.. the less likely they are to be taken up.

I support being able to upgrade the inn... as we can with other buildings, and I think with each upgrade it should allow us to have more guests.

I would love if we could choose to invite more than one guest that brings a benefit rather than just silver

 I support an increase in rent for silver paying guests....50 silver is really a very insignificant amount
