Thinking of putting this one up for breeding. He has no negative traits in dominant or recessive, 4 Very Rare Dominant, 1 Uncommon Dominant and is GP1.

What should I price his breeding at? Not planning on selling. Going to keep leveling him for a while.

I would go for 4000  look at this one

It depends also how often you want him to bred, Cause all your genes are researched people pay higher prices. Lower the price and he will be used more often.

Do not breed him yet; keep leveling him up until level fifty. Parents with a possibility of a higher GP offspring should give you higher income than parents without this possibility.

(And let me know, when he is leveled up. His genetic makeup looks tempting; certainly worth at least few breedings, and more than handful of silver)

Sandia, I looked at the one you linked. That one has a Grade 2 Degen. I thought that was NOT desirable? I've seen a lot of people posting those lately as though it was a good thing. I know in the real world it can weaken positve traits and strengthen negative traits when you inbreed too much. Maybe I'm just not understanding this game. Animals with good genetics barely pull 500-1000k on the trades and others post some with 3 greens, and 2-3 reds for 5000k and get a bid.... Just seems strange.

I don't know that well but if the degen is on 1 it would not pass to the children

Some players allow degen because their pets have basically not bad genes, I mean the dominant and recessive by that. What Degeneration does it dimish the percentage of pedigree to bad genes.

Also when buying people prefer animals with genetic power and buy them probably to bred them and the offspring that comes from that is what is desired.

These 2 thread are really helpful

and yes it is strange to pay that much for bad genes XD
