My Symurgh went through the portal alright but when I finished exploring and went to click the button to return home (or whatever you wanta call it), it wouldn't let me through. It's still not letting me through the portal, and it's been a few hours. I've refreshed, exited out of Beast Keeper and I've waited a bit. Nothing seemed to work...

When you joined the site you got 2 weeks of free Premium. Premium has a few other perks too but the one relevant for you right now is that you were able to leave islands from anywhere.
Those two weeks of free Premium are now over though, so you need to walk the pet back to the portal to leave the island.
