So in the tutorial I see the game lets you finish the labratory pretty much instantly instead of over four hours or so. I did the building with Alpha http://beastkeeper.com/pet/3359 here. It worked fine and he was set on active again and free to do whatever he pleased.

The problem was if I look at his page it still says he's crafting for two hours. I can send him on quests and drain all his energy exploring (which I did) so I guess it's mostly a visual only error? Either way it was very confusing and I'm a bit worried he'll finish crafting what he's already crafted and get booted back to zero energy again >> Of course I'm new so I might just be misunderstanding but well better to look dumb and be wrong than leave a silly bug around >>

Yes, this is just a visual issue with status, we'll fix it. You can do anything you want with this pet, everything should be fine.
