I support a no-interest bank. I think that interest destabilizes the site's economy, but having a way to save money does not. I think it should be an add-on to townhall and also control money transfers, including those of GC.

Mouses version seems pretty sensible. I support the idea in general, but this version seems best for players.

I support Mouse's idea as well. I would love interest. Even if its less than the 10s from forums... even if it were given monthyl or so... (real life month... or even a site "year")

Guys. If you want a "no-interest" bank just so you can save to a certain goal, here is what you do:

Put up an item, like, 1 wood, for the buyout cost of what you want to save up to (like, say, 10k). Then, whenever you have extra money you want to save, bid on the auction with that amount. Slowly increwase your bid until you hit the buyout -- and then once you have reached the buyout price you get all of your money back and your item back.

TADA, money saved.

As for an interest giving bank, I vote a huge resounding "NO!" because of how bad it is for game economies. Then people with lots of money just get richer and people with no money stay broke.

Haha that is a good method. But it does tie up the trades... Which are intended for trading. 

As for bad economics I don't think having a bank or not affects it that much. I'm never rich in games. Even with a bank I spend too much. Here I'm actually saving money. I have 60k and 351 gold. I'd like to be able to stick this away- whether it gains interest or not. 

In regards to feeding pets. Whatever money you don't have on hand can just automatically be withdrawn from your bank.
