I remember back when the contest for the golems first came up hilariously enough, but the one thing I've noticed is that there isn't a quartz golem. Seeing as quartz isn't particularly easy to come by, I think that having a quartz golem would be very nice. 

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but it would be fantastic if this was taken into consideration. I could even do the art again, my digital art skills have improved!

(Speculation) The lack of a quartz golem might be intentional. A ton of quartz is needed to build the Astrologist buildings, but if they were easy to build then everyone would have them and rare items would become more common, and therefore less valuable. Same goes for granite, it's a significant barrier to higher income.

Most things have golems. I've noticed the ones that don't did not have art. I remember I was working on a soapshroom tortoise, but in the end I didn't see a request for one?

Oh, thanks Nightingale. Speculation debunked! I could really use a marble golem (and quartz of course)...and thanks to Famine I'm out of pork/soybeans. Maybe we could get a followup golem art competition, finish the rest of them!

I would like to try making a golem again. Now that I have more time and a bit better skills.

Well, honey and amethyst do have golems now, but I'd really like to revive these last golems. It would be nice to have a complete set and a quartz golem.

For the past week I've used my level two astrologist building in my search for quartz aaaaaaand its still pretty tough.
