Miakoda carefully joins the group. The wolf who is standing at the front of the group's words stir her. The wolf speaks of unity,power, and survival, but Miakoda does not seek to have power, she seeks a family. The other wolves don't even seem to notice her because they too are absorbed in what the lead wolf is saying.

Miakoda notices a wolf whatching her. She wonders why the wolf is staring at her, and peers into the wolf 's mind. She sees that the wolf is nervous, even more wary then Miakoda herself is.

Miakoda can tell that the wolf is aware of the fact that her mind is being read. She suspects that this is a powerful wolf, because the wolf tries to put up a barrier to prevent her mind from being read. Miakoda concentrates and overcomes the mental barrier with much dificulty.

As she looks through the other wolf 's mind, she discovers important memories. These memories are of the variety that the owner of the mind cannot remember themselves because they where too young. Memories of a forgotton family.

-Misty collapses in the den and sees 2 shapes outside peering out she sees Whisp a wolf made of shadows and her mate shrew an owlf (half owl half wolf tuffs insted of ears owl wings and owl like tail)- "What are u 2 doing her?," Misty asks. "We wanted to see how you were doing any wolves in your pack yet?," Whisp asked. Misty shook her head "but i think i will tommorow," she repiles
