Maybe a stupid question, but I seriously don't know...
do pets get XP when fighting on the battlefield if they are below lvl 50?
I shot the thread but I didn't shoot the TO

Yes they do. Can't tell you how much it is though, I never paid much attention to it. It didn't seem to be overly much though, considering it's 1 fight every 10 hours if you don't use Potions.

I'd say this depends on your behavior :) When other squads attack you often and you win, XP gain is quite good as for me.
