I think some of these descriptions are mixed up. My squad stayed at the Crimson Tree (northernmost vermillion spot), and got this achievement:
The History of the Old Empire Pt. 3 - Visit the Ancient Battlefield and protect it for 10 hours.
...the battlefield's the one to the west, as far as I can see.
