So, I just wanted to express my excitement over the new developments and especially the new breed- throdamas. I find the addition of specialised morphs to be an awesome challenge in breeding! Too bad it's gonna take me forever to get any- I'm a long way from a portal- holding squad. Good luck everyone, can't wait to see everyone's bugs :)

Not exactly the best set of genes, even after using a lot of mutagen on him. At least I was able to get rid of double-clumsy paws.

I'll list the males I get from the portal available for breeding ASAP, and am hoping that whoever else gets them would do the same (even if for hefty fee); Symurghs were heavily inbred, but maybe we could try to avoid that with this species? 

Even if you don't have a good squad, you can try taking the portal. I've occasionally herded newbie squads to it, while attempting to block the top squads...

Again, not exactly the best set of genes...but not terrible either. Got double Acute Eyesight after a couple of mutagens. 

I've got my first breeding pair, so I'll be vacating the portal after the rollover. Am looking forward to seeing who'll get there next. :)

I disassembled my squad temporarily in order to better level them (they're all low-ish, I'm still relatively new) but this is new incentive to get rolling!

And here are my first two ones:

They don't have amazing genes but I am still happy with them. The first one has thick skin, steel bones and poor hearing. The second one has steel bones and Faint-hearted. I think I can work with this genes and i still like their unique look and their colorations :)

Yep, I think those are good. You can potentially breed dominant Steel Bones, which I consider quite lucky.

Overall, I've had bad luck with the genes so far. 

Got quite a few Throdamas from the portal, but none had what I'm looking for..
Counterstrike seems to be the only tactic that the workers can get, so I'm aiming to breed for that...but first I'd need a pair with Quickmind. Haven't got even one yet.

I did get one double-melanistic (rarest skin pattern) female, though. Just need to find a partner for her.

By the way, I left one Throdama in the pound. Dunno if he's been adopted yet...since I forgot to make note of his (or her) ID#.

I have made gene researche with my first offspring. It has taken my steel bones away... But I got rid if of double clumbsy paws and I had big luck with one coloration: It has given me rezessive melanistic.

...yeah, getting two pets for 10 hours instead 20 hours, this will be fast, leaving portal right away when done with portal ASAP, don't worry I ain't gonna hog it,lol. 

...yes, before you ask, it's my first portal thordamas, the two in my stables were a gift from a friend...
