They are actually Gryphons - only the pictures are wrong. Screenshot attached.
I killed the thread.

Thanks for reporting.
We tried to reproduce it but failed. Do you experience this bug frequently or was it a single-time issue? Did you do anything specific before it appeared (like setting and unsetting pets for this or another quests)?

It happened only this one time (or maybe I never noticed) and I didn't do anything unusual - just went to Quests for the first time after update and it was already like this.
But it seems you've already sorted this out :) Sorry for not attaching data dump - next time I'll remember.
