According to the Tactics FAQ:

Hold The Line You score 1 point for every attack maneuver of your opponent.

This sounds to me like if I roll 4 attack maneuvers and my opponent rolls Hold the Line, then Hold the Line is worth 4 points, no matter what my maneuvers were.

Under this assumption, Hold the Line is never worth more than 4 points.  But something another player said to me makes me think this might be wrong.

Is my interpretation of the Tactics FAQ correct?

Hold The Line is not a regular maneuver - it's one of the tactics. This means it takes all the maneuvers from every round into account. The maximum points for Hold The Line would be 16 (if the opponent rolled only attack maneuvers).

Ohhhh, now I get it.  Thanks for explaining.  I didn't realize tactics were different that way.
