Okay, I'm back again with more ideas (sorry, bursting mind here), but here are some bullet point numbered ideas of them:

1. Report button: simply quickly report a user by a few clicks from the front of their page, instead of having to find a staff to report, so you can basically file a faster report (it's for against rule-breakers)

2. A 'Block'  button for users who spam you or any of the sort, the moment you are blocked, you are unable to comment or send them messages. (Or to make it less stalker-ish, they will become 'unexistent' to you, meaning they can guess your code, and type your name and your pet names, but they will never find you and never see your frontpage)

3. IP address, so if people try and bypass a ban, the staff can search the IP and figure out who it is.

4. email cancelation, banned users cannot use the same email to join.

5. Purging of unused and abandoned accounts (if an account is inactive for, lets say, to be fair, two/three month) this is to prevent using up alot of bandwidth.

6. Capability of editing own page (see the page right now has the usually green with sandy parchment in middle?) so every user can decorate their own page. (This stays for anywhere you visit, any page or activity)

7. An extension on '6', perhaps the frontpage of our accounts can be decorated by the users themselves? (Will only appear frontages page but no where else.

8. groups, instead of using forums, maybe we could have an option to make our own group on here?

9. Art showcase, maybe we can have an area where we can post and showcase our art, but of course, it has to be related to BeastKeeper.

My only problem with #5 is that a lot of people will take a break from online
communities for periods as long as six months and come back.  If you were to eten it to something around 2-3 years, then you could argue that the account has actually been abandoned.  A couple of monhs is hardly abandonment.

I'm pretty sure Angel already has the ability to see IP adresses and ban emails... This is unecessary.

As for the report button I fear this could become over-used. Perhaps users could have to complete a part of the tutorial on a small quix from the ToS about what harrassment, trolling, gravedigging, slandering, and proper topics as well as language and grammar.... Then I could see some sort of system where this stuff could be reffered to a team of forum moderators or something.

As for the time limit I don't support. If the user hasn't completed the tutorial and hasn't logged on since they joined I support it being raffled off after they receive and email telling them such. I have joined sites, forgotten and then tried to re-register onyl to find I had an account. Which I thought was awesome. Besides, people have real life to tend to!

As for modifying account and profile pages I fully support. Nothing keeps me interested and more occupied than designing a page. We already have a place to showcase art. The "Creative" section is for anything related to BK art- so skins. And we have an art showcase and trades section

I'm not sure what you mean by groups. We do have a section in the forums where we can make our own groups. I thin any more group like auctions could creat cliques- which is not needed when a site is in Beta.

1. Useful, but can be abused. They'd need the ability to turn it off for people who are always making false reports or reporting that guy they really dislike over and over even though the guy didn't do anything wrong.

2. Are you actually having these problem or just paranoid? Most games end up with a block feature of some sort that just makes it so they can't mail you anymore.

3. As Nightingale already said, they already track your IP. Besides, IP bans are easy to break out of if they really wanted to.

4. They'll just use a new email and refresh their IP.

5. This is a very bad idea. I know people who come back after years. I have been one of them sometimes. This game takes forever to get anywhere. Deleting accounts (unless the player  told the game to delete the account) at all ever is a very bad idea.

6. This already exists but is difficult to prevent pink myspace sparkles everywhere. See my page for an example. ;)

7. I'd rahter extend this to user-made themes. I'd like a lapis lazuli theme and would happily share with others! Shared themes would need to be approved, again, to keep things appropriate to the site.

8.  No. Too easy to get out of hand/troll. Besides, this site is tiny and doesn't need the community to be divided into little cliques.

9. Go to the art forum... or, better yet, go to an art site. :)

Some personal advice in general, based on my observations in this thread.

I take it you're a furry due to the wolf fursona avatar and fears of trolling. Turn off the fursona avatar. If trolls appear, they're not likely to bug you if your're not displaying a fursona. Don't feed the trolls and they eventually go away.

Also, I wouldn't use the art forum as a source of "income" because you're not very skilled yet. I found your avatar's trace source within 30 second using google. People aren't likely to pay for anything with a low skill level like traces. Instead, make sure you do all your Explore runs and quests each day and you'll have silver before you know it!

Here's a helpful image about the difference between tracing and referencing I found on another site. Count the "!" one as "questionable in some circles" because, well, it is! Copyright is a sticky issue.

I'd just like to say something.. a good art site is  www.Deviantart.com --> Fits nearly everybodies artistic needs. Writers, photographers, digital artists animators and so on... Also has good tutorials and refrences for drawing and whatnot. This is where I learned to draw, people here can be very helpful. I always.

Also Paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/download.html) is a WONDERFUL software. As well as PaintSAI. Photoshop CS2 is now avaliable free in Legacy edition for download. This is absolutly wonderful for any budding artists who can't spend lots on photoshop. They also have a pen tool just in case you don't have a graphics tablet this is an easy way to make crisp lines.

I swear that wolf image is everywhere... I have it in a calendar on my wall... Also trolls... lawl.

I'm on deviantart already, but I've seen Neopets have a special gallery for their site related art.

and my icon is referenced, and it's also a paid commission work done by my friend, and I don't think she traced at all, and the picture doesn't really look anything like it As far as I can tell.

if it were traced, my group would have picked up on it long time ago, but they didn't, so i don't think its traced if no one picked up on it before.

and my own artwork is different though, I'm NightbaneWolf on deviantart.
