"well... after that they began declaring war on the other races so..." she made brushing motion with her hand as if she were swatting away a bug, "we wiped their memories and re-located all of them in a place called 'the bubble' which is south of here. As for what was left of the wizards, they created their own floating island where they could study their magics in peace."

She looked away at the mentions of a war.  Her background hadmuch in common with that of the school.  But she looked back up before Howl could wonderr why she did anything.

"this school was organized to teach children of all of the races how to get along and solve domestic disputes to avoid a second war." She smiled, "deligates across the world are hand chosen by the principal herself to be pupils here~ it's a grand honor!"

"I've never had an education until now.  I wonder how well that will work..." she said.  She thought she had a lot of knowledge already.  But there's more to learn?

"well it's more of a vocational training... but we do have a few of the usual courses... I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem though." She smiled, "You seem like a bright young dragon so I'm sure you'll catch on quick!"

"Knowledge is power... I guess." she said with a smile.

"it also goes with you when your spirit passes on," Howl stated, "unlike material objects that are confined to this plane of existance."

"Who knows..." she said airily.

Howl stopped, confused, "Goldenscale, that's common knowledge... material objects don't go with you when you die.... we've known that since the reapers and lost spirits joined our international union hundreds of years ago."

"I agree with you that our souls must go so somewhere, but I've been living isolated in a forest.  Do you honestly think I get an education there on life?" she said.  

"o- oh..." She giggled, "right then, I guess it's good you have someone like me to talk to about it..." She blushed a bit, "I can be a bit of a 'walking encyclopedia' of sorts!"

"Now you're just confusing me.  I know I'm a dragon, but when it comes to humanoid objects such as that, I don't know much..." she said.
