Both abilities say fire breath under gene abilities. Even when the pet has fire strike still only says breath.

Dragons have only one combo ability - Fire Breath - which can be used in battle as fire strike. I'm not sure what is the second one which you mean. Maybe you're talking about the additional effect from the Napalm gland? If this is so then it's not a separate ability but an additional effect of the Fire Breath.
