how or where do I find the blueprints for one?

Either look for them in treasure chests on Islands or browse through item sales--there is an abundance of redundant blueprints on BK, so it should be fairly cheap. :)

I don't know if this is too late already, but the bigger problem I think is building it. It needs a Compass and a Telescope, which means a total of 100 Adamantine, 50 Magnetite and 50 Quartz. Especially the Adamantine is hard to get, so it might pay to wait with buying the blueprint and see if you can't find it yourself while exploring while you try to gather all the resources you will need.

Or you can outright buy the compass and telescope from somebody or check item sales for them. :)
