Welcome to BeastKeeper, I hope that you enjoy your time here. Be sure to read all of the FAQ on the Help tab, a lot of people seem to be missing or failing to read all the information on there. (I'm pretty certain that any/all questions can be answered merely by reading it thouroughly - if not, head to the FAQ thread in the forums).
There are also a lot of tooltips and hoverable (?) ticks around the site, that explain stats and things further. Go on a bit of a hunt, for those.
