Okay... I realize this is probably going to start controversy.... but I've been toying with the idea for awhile. Please help me see the pros and cons, I appreciate feedback...

 

Okay.. i'm an advid game player. And in games like say Skyrim (I'm assuming lots know of it or have played it) when you level up (gain enough experience to move on to the next level) your status bars are refreshed (health/stamina/magika etc).... This is the case in quite a few games. I admit when I am low on health potions I save my "accepting" the new level until my health is low... pitiful I know....

Anyway...

My suggestion is that when your pet levels up (be it in explore, battles, whatever) one point (or more, we can hash that out) is replenished (NOT ADDED, BUT REPLENISHED).

For instance if I have a level 2 pet, and my energy is at 5 (I'm in explore) and I level up to three then one energy point would be replenished, so I would have 6 energy.

This could be a good a small mitigating strategy in the explore for when you loose -just one battle and you can't explore again becaues your energy is 4-.

 

I'm not sure if this is even a good idea yet, or if its feasible and worth it.. I just though to suggest it because this is suggestions and I'm open to feedback.

support... I don't think it would mess up the exploring at all and with bandages out it seems like a feasable idea.

Support! Bandages aren't easily accessable, and we need this feature.

Well you already get one extra energy point when you explore with a pet who only has 5 energy to start (you lose the 5 energy but start off with 1 left). While I would personally think this would be a great addition (who loves free energy?), I don't think it;s particularly necessary.

What if, at certain levels, max energy is increased and rate of energy regeneration increases? Like, at every fifth level, the max energy could go up by 1. At every tenth level, the energy regeneration speed could be kicked up by 20% or something. 50th level pets would then have a max energy of 20, and still have a full-regen time of 10 hours.
