He's currently being tamed, so I can't judge his stats yet, but I generally base my pets 1500, -500 red stat, +500 for green stat, with some flexibility.

Not sure really. I'd love an energy potion, but I know that's too much for just one pet, unless you wanted more than just him.
Silver wise I suppose more than 1.5K? Not sure.
