The only way to make an etelia miss a turn is via Massive Wings.
Second Breath gives you an extra turn as well. Second Breath/Musical Beak gryphs are great for stunlocking guardians, not so much against etelia though

I tried second breath pumas, how did I forget?
Even with silent pace they were pretty useless, unfortunately.

The three main attacks are Petrify/roar/freeze ones, and these don't work on etelia. You would knock them down with massive wings if you used rush, but there would be no big attack to wipe them out before they can one-shot you.
You're better off with an elemental attack pet. Roc with lightning and massive wings and sharp feathers is pretty good.
My best attack pet (but it doesn't do well against guardians) is a unicorn with diamond horn, determined, regeneration and magic mirror.

Lightning is great. I use rush to knock over the etelia with the massive wings, then bite bite with lightning strike.

Oh. I don't have a roc with lightning and massive wings, only lightning and counterstrike. I might need a lil more breeding with rocs.

ugh, I started with 30 portal energy cells and now I have 0. My beauty Lilly is crafting ten. I wasted a lot of money and time on these portal energy cells! But It's gonna be totally worth it when I get my etelia!

i logged back in after a bit of a break and im so glad im in time to get some of the pretty feb gear and try a couple of rounds of tundra :D
iv mostly forgotten which pets did well or what worked well to get my last etelia....but i do remember that my dragon Zoar was one i used a lot...i brought it up to level 50 during tundra runs last time so this time its slightly easier, i can auto-battle in most of the lower levels :D

hi!! what does "each beastlord can find only 1 pristine snowflake" mean??
I had got a snowflake which grew into an etelia last year...does that mean i cant find more snowflakes to grow into etelia this year?
and does that mean the only way to get more etelia is to have my last years etelia find its birthplace island?

Yes, you only ever find one snowflake. All other etelia descend from that snowflake.
