It will slowly produce stone (or whatever type the golem is made out of) over the duration of 10 days. It's a slow process but in the end you get a lot more of that material than you first started with.

If you don't mind me adding to your question, can a golem scheme be used more than once? I'm not seeing my honey golem scheme anymore after crafting it. When it's time is up, will the scheme reappear?
