Hi I'm new to this game and i see alot of people talking about deviant pets. 

Can someone please tell me what are deviant pets and how can i get them

Deviant pets are pets that have "mutated" and have a special color or pattern. You can see all the different deviant colors and patterns by going to the skin library here https://beastkeeper.com/skin-lib

Every pet that is born with a homozygous color or pattern has a 10% chance of mutating and becoming a deviant. You can tell these pets by the asterisk * by their color on the pet profile.  And then there will be a star by color and/or pattern which mutated on their genes page.

The easiest way to get them is to breed homozygous color or patterned pets to another homozygous color or patterned pet, that way the child will definitely be homozygous color or pattern and thus have the 1 in 10 chance of being a deviant.
