Hi guys!

I'm sorry if this is a really newbie-ish question, but I am new and I'm assuming that the objective of one of the first quests where you get supplies is to make the map show all of the boxes instead of having black boxes. How do I do this?

Also how do I prepare an expedition? I've tried clicking just about everything and nothing is happening?
