The humans have gone completely and utterly insane.

Many reek of death and they have become grotesque, bloody figures. The dogs seem to be the only ones who are truly immune to.. whatever has infected the humans. Other animals go a little mad, and become feral--even to each other. But the dogs? They're doing.. alright, I suppose...

Surviving in the city was hard enough, but now, they have to deal with humans who are trying to eat them, or trying to catch them and take them away for whatever reason.

Luckily, one dog was able to find a safe place. A place they could hide from the eaters and the regulars. A place they could survive.Anyone who was willing to contribute to this haven, was welcomed into the pack--later named "The Faction."

Roleplay rules:

- One person is aloud 1 high rank each .

- Please DONT kill another character.

- Four Seasons: Winter , Summer , Spring and Autumn

- 1 Characters per person, for now .

- Only domesticated dog characters for this roleplay. No wolves,foxes etc--not even half-breeds, sorry! .

- Speaking of characters, these dogs will stay quadruped, but will be able to hold objects with their paws .

- Character names shouldn't be anything like "Shadowheart," or "Sunstar." They should be something an owner would name their dog, like "Chloe," "Hunter," "Tyler," etc. .

- Please don't godmod, and no "Mary Sue" characters .

- If your not going be on in a while ,please notify me.I will understand.I am student at medicine so that means I cant stay here day by day...

- Please add real dog photos,or realistic digital art(something that looks like a normal dog.The internet is full of dog pics)

- No powers,we are normal dogs.

- Be nice to each other,be respectful and have fun!

Faction rules:

The Overseer is the only dog who may allow others into the faction, banish others from the faction, and execute dogs if nesaccry. Their word goes, but, said word has a right to be challenged.

When the Overseer dies, retires, or is banished, the Advisor must step up to fill their role.

A new Advisor must be chosen within three days of the Overseer's death, retirement or banishment.

Pups must stay within the nursery until they are 4 months old, and cannot leave home until they are apprenticed. Apprenticed pups cannot leave the safe-zone without their assigned mentor.

Outsiders are to be challenged, but not killed, unless they are truly hostile.

New comers must be mentored before they become a full fledged member of the Faction.Food is food. Eat it, do not let it rot. Rotten food means sick dogs, and we don't need any of those.If Runners found herds of another animals(horses,goats,cows..blah blah)then ,here will be the Wardens job.To hunt them down.

Be cautious when leaving the safe-zone.

Overseer . The leader of the Faction. They watch over everyone, assign patrols, chose mentors, and sometimes lead battles.
Advisor . The Overseer's most trusted, they give advice on hard choices, and step up when the Overseer is unable to do their job. They fully take over as the leader, when the current Overseer has died or retires.

Physician . The head honcho when it comes to medical emergencies. They distribute medicine to those who need it, and do their best to patch up the wounded.
Medi . One or two pups that are 6 months old, training under the Physician to learn to craft of healing.

Machinist . This dog is able to figure out and manipulate the old and new technology in the city. They know how to fix things like heaters, boilers, the list goes on.
Techi . Pups that are 6 months old and are training under the Machinist.

Warden . Everyone is trained to defend themselves, but Wardens specialize in combat. Trained to fight whatever is threatening the Faction, these dogs are not to be messed with. They also hunt for the Faction.
Appointee . Pups that are 7 months old, that are in training to become a Warden. They are not allowed to go off on their own, and must always be accompanied by their mentor when leaving the safe-zone.

Runner . Runners are the lookouts and messengers of the faction. Fastest of the fast, these dogs are supply gatherers. They go into buildings and search for food, medicine, and anything else needed.
Scout . Pups that are 7 months old, that are in training to become a Runner. They are not allowed to go off on their own, and must always be accompanied by their mentor when leaving the safe-zone.

Furmother . A shedog who is pregnant or nursing pups, they do not leave the nursery until their pups are old enough to receive a mentor. There is always one Furmother who is a permanent resident of the nursery, who looks after orphaned pups and helps new mothers with their litters.
Pup . The littlest cutie-pies you ever did see. Pups are assigned mentors when they turn 6 or 7 months old, depending on what they show interest or skill in.

An abandoned mall, just outside the city, the stairs have long since stopped working, and the various rooms up stairs are perfect for housing many dogs. The dogs have learned how to close the big doors, in case any eaters get inside.

. Safe-Zone .

A huge space of open fields with scattered clusters of trees, the safe-zone is guarded by a tall, concrete wall. There's two heavy gates on either side of the space, guards always posted by them. There are a few other buildings around the space, besides the mall. There are a bunch of old, junky cars, too.

. Outlands .

The streets of the city are overgrown and teaming with eaters. The city itself is in no better condition. No dog has really ever been past the city.

Personality: Fast to suspect, but extremly loyal, once almost got killed trying to save her mother from an infected human. But she couldn't. Now she's snappy and sassy, rather not talk but likes to be sarcastic. 

Likes/Dislikes: she enjoys nice, sunny waether, she really hates infected humans and soggy wet waether which soaks her long fur. 

Story: Was born with a single sister who travels with her. Their mother was trapped and killed by infected humans, they couldn't save her. rarly shares her story unless it's the only option for survival.

Mate/kin/Pups: No mate, mother is dead, no pups, has single sister.

Breed: Unknown - Fully mixed breed

Role: Scout

Personality: Koda is a very affectionate and loyal pup, he's alert and serious when the time comes, but he's usually cheerful and energetic. He's quite a gentle and intelligent dog, being confident and courageous he'll put up a fight. He'd always wanted to be a Warden, but he knew that he was build for a Runner, however he could put up a hard fight if he has to.

Dislikes: Thunder. Koda is terrified of thunder, he thinks it would kill him the moment he sets foot outside the saftey of Home. He hates the disease that makes things crazy and he wants to get rid of it.

Likes: He loves sunny weather and friendly dogs, Koda could play all day if the chance arrived.

Story: Koda's father was banished and his mother died of sickness. He hides his pain by showing friendliness. He grew up with the support of other dogs and is so excited to finally  be a Scout
