I have a pet I just got from the pound named buck he's a level 8 and I have vermillion and money so I don't know why I can't research his genetics it just won't let me research! Please explain, or try to fix this bug. Thank you!

Your pet must have Active status. You can build a Laboratory (lvl 2) to bypass this limit and research the genetics of busy pets.

How do you make a pet have Active status? I'm still fairly new so I don't know. :/

I see your pet,Buck is still exploring.Just leave the island where your pet is and then it'll have active status.
