Are pet names exclusive? Like only one pet on site may have the name? Also, how many pets can you have? Can they run away? Are there any guides on battling? It's really discouraging when you have more health then the explore creature and you die instead. I give up.

#1 pet names are not exclusive.  #2 you may have up to 20 pets unless you have expand stable scrolls and lvled up stables.  #3 No #4 Its ideal you choose the atk that does the most damage according to your pet's genes (this can be found on your pets stats.

to be more sucessful in battles, you need to 

a) use attacks that do the most damage for each pet

For your Griffin named Grace It's blow.

For Alexi it's bite

For the male cockatrice it's ALL OF THEM

For the female it's rush.

b) buy pets with better stats or breed your existing ones with ones with better stats.

to see if a stat is "good" you check the color of it.  Good ones are green, normals are black, bad ones are red.

Thank you so much for explaining it! I started to realize it when I found my Griffins stats. I realized I should be using the blow attack. Once I did she started winning more often. I didn't know about the better stats though so thank you soo much!
