Smokeheart laughed." I owe you a game of catch!"

Windkit immediately brightened. She ran outside to play catch.

Smokeheart grabbed the ball of moss."Catch!" He called, throwing it at her.

Windkit lunged for the ball and caught it in her paws. She then threw it back at Smokeheart.

Smokeheart grabbed the ball in his mouth and threw it back.

DawnKit sighed and wandered around, after a while DawnKit tripped on a stump. What? Since when is a tree in camp? She thought to herself, but continued walking.

Windkit missed the throw and tumbled on the ground. She shook her head, sending dirt flying everywhere.

Smokeheart laughed and flicked his tail in amusment."I never realised that being a kit is so much fun."

"Weren't you ever a kit?" Windkit asked, sitting up and trying to shake dirt out of her eart.

Smokeheart's smile faded."I was. But my parents where loners and I was the only kit left after rats attacked my kin. So I didn't grow up with kin."

Windkit's smile faded, "Oh," after a thought, she said, "I'm sorry."

He licked the kits head."It wasn't your fault, so you don't need to be sorry."

Windkit had been inching the ball closer to her with her tail. Nudged it towards Smokeheart, "You start." She said.

"Okay, thanks." He batted the ball with his paw."Catch!"

Windkit was, as she said she was earllier, really bad at catch. She caught the ball... with her face. The ball bounced off of her face and went back to Smokeheart.
