Smokeheart turned."You should be at camp!" He shook his head."I'll play when we get back." He watched the apprentice go back to her camp and grabbed Windkit by her scruff.

Windkit turned and looked at Smokeheart as he carries her back to camp. "You didn't even know I was there, and you wouldn't have if I hadn't said anything." She said proudly.

Smokeheart sighed through the kits soft scruff."Yes, because I was too caught up in the fact another Clan cat came into our territory."

Windkit's pride deflated a little, "But you still didn't hear me." She said, her pride returning.

Smokeheart gave in."Yes, you're right."

Windkit smiled proudly, "You can put me down now." She said, quite bossily.

"You can't boss me!" Smokeheart mewoed, but put her down anyway. He batted at her with a paw.

Windkit wrinkled her nose at Smokefur, and then stuck her nose in the air happily as he put her down. She yelped as Smokefur batted her with his paw. "Hey!" She said, surprised.

Smokeheart grinned."What?" He battered at her again, but this time more playfully."Can't take someone bigger than you?" He meowed playfully.

Windkit ran around the laughing cat as fast as she could. Suddenly, she stopped and crouched low, positive that Forestpaw wouldn't be able to see her.

Smokeheart looked around pretending he couldn't see her."Oh no, where's she gone?"

Windkit crouched even lower into the grass and moved so subtly that the grass barely moved. She was able to get all the way around Smokeheart, so that she was behind him. She pounced onto his back, "Boo!" She shouted into his ears.

"GAH!!" He jumped, almost making the kit lose her grip."Sheesh, you scared me!"

Windkit tumbled to the ground as Smokeheart jumped. She giggled, "What, can't take take someone smaller than you?" She asked playfully, yet still proudly.

"Oooooh! No you didn't!" He sprang after the kit.
