"Dawnkit! I never knew you could run so fast!" Windkit yelled, "It's just me, Windkit!" She sped up.

Smokeheart pounded past Windkit and started gaining on Dawnkit.

Windkit breathed even harder as she struggled to keep up with Dawnkit. She ran faster as Smokeheart passed her. "Dawnkit, stop running!"

Smokeheart rounded a bend and found Smallkit being carried by a cat. He hissed and pounced onto the cats back.

Breathing hard, Windkit rounded the corner and saw her friend being attacked by another cat. She squeaked and pounced on the cat, she hit him, "Meanie! Give back my friend!" She jumped on his head and began smacking his eyes.

"WINDKIT THAT"S ME!!" Smokeheart yowled. He held onto the struggling cat that held Smallkit.

Windkit squeaked and jumped off of Smokeheart, landing on the other cat. "Sorry, this guy's the meanie!" She said, biting the cat on the ear, hard.

Smokeheart dug his claws into the strange cat's flank."Windkit, get Smallkit and go back to camp!"

Windkit nodded and slipped down onto the strange cats face. She spit into his eyes, making him drop Smallkit. "Come on, hurry!" She said, pushing her friend towards camp.

Smokeheart yowled a challege and bit into the cat's ear.

"Come on Dawnkit!" Windkit yelled. She watched as Smokeheart bit into the cat' ear. She forgot her task and ran to help. "I can do that too!" She yelled, jumping onto the cat's back. She made sure that it was the strange cat before biting his other ear and trying to tear it.

"Windkit! Go back to camp!" He meowed, his voice muffled by the cat's ear.

"What? Bite harder? Okay!" Windkit said, not really understanding what Smokeheart had said. She bit harder and felt her teeth go straight through the cat's ear.

Smokeheart rolled his eyes and let go, about to tell her what he'd said, when the cat took advantage and bit down into Smokeheart's foreleg.

Windkit reared in outrage. She tore the cat's ear halfway off and yelled into what was left. "YOU BIG MEANIE! LET GO RIGHT NOW!" She then began spitting into the cat's eyes.
