I bred my puma, Tamaya, with amother puma, Astorath, who is a gp3 puma.  The baby

has extra red genes that neither parent had in the first place!  I am so confused since the baby does not have dg or anything like that!  Is this a glitch?

Thanks,

The mother's genes aren't researched, but she has red attributes (as well as green ones) so it looks like the baby has inherited bad genes from its mother. Once you research the genes of mother and baby you'll be able to track what the genetics are.

But the baby has red genes that neither the mother or the father had, that is the part that is confusing me.  Neither parent has red blow and rush genes, so where could they have come from??

They could have been a recessive on the mother's genetics, usually that's Blunt Claws or something. If the gene from the father has less gene power than Blunt Claws, it'll be dominant in the baby.

Yeah, it's Blunt Claws; from the looks of it, the mother should have something like Normal Paws(70) + Blunt Claws(60), and the baby received Blunt Claws from the mom, which is dominate due to receiving the father's Silent Pace(40) -- The reason why Blunt Claws is not shown is due to Normal Paws having higher Gene Power.

But how would I replace the bad genes if they are overpowering the good genes?  Is they a way to eventually breed them out?

If the pet you breed your puma with has no Blunt Claws, then there will only be a 50% chance the resulting baby will have it in its genetics. And even if the baby does get Blunt Claws from your puma, it won't show if the gene it inherits from the other parent is a higher gene power, such as Normal Paws or Agile Paws.
